Fowler wins Deutsche Bank
On Labor Day, Rickie Fowler worked his way to winning the second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs (yeah I know - awful pun). Fowler entered the final round one stroke back of Henrik Stenson. Stenson kept that lead until the 16th hole when he hit his 7 iron into the water on the Par 3. A par for Fowler and a double-bogey for Stenson gave Fowler a one-shot lead and Rickie held on to capture his 2nd PGA Tour victory of the season.
It was Fowler's third worldwide victory of 2015 and his third PGA Tour win of his young career. Rickie not only seems to embrace the big moments, but he has elevated himself from flashy dresser to golfing star.
Fowler even celebrated in the media tent in appropriate fashion.
The Tour takes a week off before heading to Chicago for the BMW Championship. Only the top 75 players advance to the Windy City.
