2016 PGA Tour Schedule
Rex Hoggard from Golf Channel posted a great piece on the 2015-16 PGA Tour schedule this morning.
The Olympics in August has put a wrinkle into the Tour's schedule. Most notably will be the near back-to-back majors taking place in July between the Open Championship and the PGA Championship. The final two majors of the year will occur a mere two weeks apart.
The WGC-Dell Match Play Championship (moving to Austin, Texas) will take place two (2) weeks before the Masters. This is a great spot for the the match play and provides a nice run-up to the first major of the year.
The Tour is also discussing what tournaments, if any, should be played during the Olympics. It looks like the John Deere Classic is the likely candidate to go head-to-head with the global games.
