2014 Michigan Football: Game 8 - Michigan @ Michigan State
There is absolutely nothing to say about this game. Michigan State outplayed, out coached, and out classed Michigan.
As for the 'stake heard round the world,' it was a stupid move by Michigan and proves that there is absolutely no leadership in the Michigan locker room. That being said, spare me Mark Dantonio from your "I am diplomatic and we deserve respect" propaganda. Dantonio thrives from having a chip on his shoulder, and while he is a tremendous coach, he needs that edge in order to keep his team thriving.
This is also the same man who, in 2012, walked into Michigan's end zone and flashed four fingers at the Michigan fans (symbolizing the four consecutive wins the Spartans had against the Wolverines). This is also the same man who brushed away a Michigan Stadium event staffers hand and said "Get the hell outta here" after being wished a speedy recovery. Dantonio may be an outstanding coach, but he still lacks for class - and that's probably what has kept his squad on top.
